Feelin Fresh

Posted by hrgarippa on 5 May, 2009

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” Psalm 51.10

Do you all remember Rachel, my niece? I’ve written about her before…when she was doing the fruit of the spirit and talking about God.

Rachel, who is eight, has her quiet time every morning. This isn’t just reading a story from a kids bible, quiet time….this is serious studying of the Word. She gets out her kids story bible and then her big girl bible and she’ll compare the two…then she’ll read her kids, Utmost for His Highest. Yep! At age eight. She even writes in her journal. We are journal people in our family.

We’ll the other day after her time in the Word she went to my sister and said,

“Mommy, how come I always feel so fresh after my quiet time?”

Out of the mouths of babes, y’all…May we all spend some time getting fresh with our Lord and Saviour.

Would it be ok to just go ahead and arrange a marriage right now? Tee is both smart and handsome and really only like to wrestle his sister 45% of the time.
