About Me

“Life has no limits, if your not afraid to get in it.” That is from a Mason Jennings song and I’ll never forget the first time I heard it. The song is called, “If You ain’t Got Love.” And I thought YES! that’s gonna be me. I’m going to stop being afraid of living and I’m going to start loving.

Life passes by so fast, and so I desire to make each moment count. I want so badly to be the kind of person whose heart is quiet enough so that I can hear the voice of the Lord guiding me.

Right now I live life in a community called West Dallas. This community brings together Black, Hispanic, and a few White and Asian folk. We are all poor and needy and together we look to Christ who makes all things new.

My journey is filled with highs and lows but ultimately it is about learning to live, learning to love and learning to hope. Thanks for being a part of this.
